First Message to the group

We are a book club affiliated with Great Books and meet at
Freed-Montrose Library (at Richmond and Montrose) in Houston, TX every
first Thursday of the month from 6 to 8pm. We are free and open to the
public, periodically vote on readings (listed on our website) and
enthusiastically welcome new members!

Our only requirement is that you need to read the book if you want to
participate in the discussion. But, hey, if you just want to come and
listen, then that is fine too (and you don't even need to read the
book.)
