Montréal's Ruby Community History : a collaborative effort

I have been asked to write Montréal's Ruby Community History as part
of the planning we are doing for a one-day Ruby track for the upcoming
ConFoo conference in Montréal (more on that in a few days) and I was
wondering if anyone could give a hand with this...

I have put a first (small) draft on the Montreal BarCamp wiki (for a
lack of better place) here:

(yeah, it's ironic, I know, .php in there, the server is dead slow,
etc)

Help, perspective and insights are welcomed and if anyone would like
