Ruby Hacknight

Hey guys,

It was great to see everybody last night. As mentioned, Hacknights are every 2nd Tuesday of the month at SUPINFO (666 Sherbrooke W, 15th floor) and the next one is on October 8th.

For those of you who would like to join the Ruby Hacknight Group, you can do so here at https://groups.google.com/d/forum/montreal-ruby-hacknight and you can register for the event on eventbrite at https://ruby-hacknight.eventbrite.ca/.

We're always looking for ideas and people to lead the Programming Challenges, so let me know if you're interested. Here's a quick guideline of the kind of challenges we're looking for:

• It has to be in Ruby
• Should fit in less than 2 hours
• Keep in mind that people are pair-programming
• Ideally if we can turn the event into a small scale competition, it makes the challenge even more fun. For instance:
• Write the shortest piece of code that solves the challenge
• Write the fastest piece of code
• Run everybody's code to see which one yields the best results
• etc.
