Afternoon meetings?

Hello, 

How interesting, or not, would it be to have our occasional meeting on Friday afternoons, let's say 15h00 to 17h00.

I realize it would only make it interesting to folks having an understanding employer that would count that time as training or to independent consultants.

On the other hand, it could open up the doors to folks who haver personal obligations after work hours. Also, it's easier to have a venue during work hour than at night.

Food for thoughts.

I could meet at that time. What kind of venues did you have in mind? I
would have thought it would be harder to find venues like coworking
spaces or company meeting rooms that would be free during the work
day.

I didn't realize there were discussion forums on the meetup page until
you mentioned them! I think I'm signed up to get emails about messages
there now though.

I've been lazy about planning another lambda meetup. Maybe a
4clojure.com focused meeting? The guys at the last meeting who hadn't
seen clojure before seemed interested enough, but we didn't dig into
it much because they didn't have laptops and the wifi wasn't
working...

There's a possibility to have the meetups at the CRIM, if it's earlier like 15h00 to 17h00 as there is a receptionist until 17h00.

Near metro Parc and free parking behind the building.

No to rule out, Brandicted, which is also a nice choice!

Nearish metro Bonaventure & Square-Victoria.

A 4clojure.com meeting sounds nice, we would advice in advance to bring a laptop or Android phone.
