We are using Microsoft Dynamics CRM in our company (mostly for our sales people). Now we want also to connect our support team on the one side and on the other side we want to bring product management and UX people "closer" to the user. The latter should be solved by using the Intercom for Engagement platform. For our support team it is more likely to stick to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Voice because of its possibilities for ticketing and the access to our existing customer database.

As I assume that we won't be "allowed" to use Intercom also for our support team, I am thinking of a combination of both "worlds", without having the customer data doubled. So an app integration via Zapier or Automate could be helpful as I was told by your colleagues. But perhaps there are other possibilities without the need to integrate a further service or some best practices you might know from people within the community who had a similar setting in their company.

Exploring the synergy between Intercom and microsoft dynamics 365 services like Customer Voice or OmniChannel is an intriguing endeavor that showcases the flexibility and integration capabilities of Dynamics 365. This combination could offer a comprehensive view of customer interactions across multiple channels, enhancing customer engagement and service efficiency. Dynamics 365's robust analytics and automation tools, coupled with Intercom's conversational marketing and support platform, could empower organizations to deliver personalized customer experiences at scale. It would be fascinating to hear from anyone leveraging both platforms to understand the practical benefits and challenges encountered. Such insights could significantly contribute to optimizing customer relationship management strategies.

Today, we officially announced that our company was acquired by another tech firm, which is about three times our size, and they use Microsoft Dynamics CRM in combination with Microsoft Flow and Power Apps for workflows and other customizations.

Hi Rolph I have been working 4 years in a company that uses Dynamics as a core system and about 3 years ago we hire Hubspot as the commercial/marketing arm of MS dynamics. This is obviously a complex structure integration required but extremely needed for the size of the business.

Thanks for this great response to Rolf's question. My company has been looking to migrate to Dynamics because IT has been sold on the benefits of the integrated ecosystem, but I'm seriously not loving the idea.

Perhaps your IT department doesn't care about efficiency in the marketing department. That seems to be our case now. Last year our acquirers had a failed project connecting Dynamics CRM with GoToWebinar. I showed them (with a timer on) that this takes less than 20 seconds if they'd use HubSpot. They made it a whole project. And failed.

We are integrating our HubSpot account with their Dynamics CRM and WordPress website. Because we use Marketing Hub Enterprise we can use the content partitioning functionality to give their CRM and CMS superpowers and they don't even have to leave their beloved apps.

It will take approximately 24 months before our company will dissolve completely into theirs. So we have time to massage them into believing that HubSpot is the way to go. It is currently my best bet.

@tyr, let your IT department search for "HubSpot app partner program" and dare them to prove to you that Dynamics has a better integrated and growing ecosystem. A little desk research has convinced me that HubSpot even integrates better in some ways with Microsoft's own product than Microsoft themselves, which is exactly in line with @brndnstwrt excellent response.

It won't be easy to impress them I'm afraid. It is a German party with a typical German on-premise strategy with the wish to have full control of the entire IT landscape. Which is funny, because they sell a cloud product that is not on-premise.

There is a single full-time in-house developer who does the customizations. But because he is on his own I view it as a major liability for if he leaves, and a burden because it is only one man reinventing all the (fly)wheels that have already been invented and created. They don't seem to mind, which is absolutely baffling.

Never miss a sales opportunity with Dialpad's native Microsoft Dynamics integration. You'll be able to increase productivity by auto-logging calls and easily keep tabs on your prospects and customers.

If there are multiple contact matches, Dialpad will display the variable contacts and ask you to select the correct one. The call will not be logged to any contact until you select the correct contact.

SMS logging also includes 2-way texting capabilities, allowing Users to initiate outbound texts and receive inbound texts (including simple text and photos). Group SMS and the ability to attach a photo when receiving an SMS is also included.

Outbound SMS is available directly from within the Dynamics app, just like the click-to-call feature. Users can click on a number and select send a text, (and even attach a photo directly from the message). You can also browse the location where the photo will be stored.

When automatic contact creation for SMS is enabled, Dialpad checks for a match in Microsoft Dynamics before creating a new lead or contact record for an unmatched contact. This ensures that all customer interactions and data are kept in one place and prevents the creation of duplicate records.

Admins are able to enable screen pop for Shared Lines, including Main Lines, Departments, and Contact Centers, which allows Operators and Agents to immediately gain access to customer-related information.

If you spend a lot of time working inside the Dynamics CRM environment and wish to use Dialpad to receive/ place calls from inside Dynamics, please request your Dialpad Customer Success Manager to enroll you in our Early Adopter Program for our new CTI Chrome Extension.

Please make a note of the date and time that this error happened and then do a hard reset of the Dialpad client by pressing Ctrl + shift + R. Verify that you can get into the MS Dynamic instance by visiting and logging in with your Microsoft credentials that end in @dialpadinc.onmicrosoft.com and try to connect the integration again.

When setting up automatic contact creation, the best practice is to create new contact entities only for inbound messages. This is because inbound messages typically come from new or existing contacts, whereas outbound messages are usually sent to existing contacts.
