Hello death meditators, I hope you are well. I am looking forward to seeing you at death meditation this Friday on the Spring Equinox!  A time of renewal and new beginnings, we'll be doing some work with our intentions and why we come to contemplate death and life when we practice maranasati.   All are welcome 🙏🏻

We will sit for death meditation (Maranasati) this week on Friday March 20th, 2026 from 5:00 - 6:15pm, and continue on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.

Please, come to my office at 15 State Street in Montpelier, Suite 203 on the second floor. I have pillows and blankets as well as some chairs for your use. Feel free to bring your own meditation cushions or zabutons if you'd like.

See you soon and please reach out if you have any questions,

"Acceptance is liberating. It’s counterintuitive, but the avoidance of our mortality is the very thing that continues to perpetuate our cycle of suffering. Contemplation of death changes this because it forces us to awaken to the present moment. Instead of sleepwalking through parts of our lives, we can become mindful of our mortality, shift our perspective, and our life itself."

Hi all,

My apologies for the short notice, but on my way into town the roads are quite slippery and there's some rain coming. I'm going to turn around and head back to my cozy cabin -- I hope you all get this in time or if you've already decided to stay in for the snow, keep cozy and I'll see you in April.

Best,
