CLOTHING DRIVE -- NOW - OCT. 27

Hello Friends --

  Fall is truly here and with it, I am looking for my warmer things.  In my tiny apartment, there are many places where long sleeve shirts can hide, but I will also have to buy a  few new white long sleeved t-shrts too, and when I do I plan to buy at least one extra one to donate to the APAH Clothing Drive.

I will drop it into the donation box outside the Service Project HQ (the Brethren Church), at 300 N. Montague Street, ehich I can do day or night because the boxes are outside the protected main door. 

And I have Oct. 27 marked on my calendar because that is when the Service Project needs volunteers to sort by size and gender all of the donations.  Nov. 10 there is going to be a "store" set-up where APAH residents from more than 20 different locations will come to choose from the donations the Clothing Drive collected.

So there are handouts to share with your youth group or book group or neighbors -- just contact me and I will get them to you.

Hope to see your clothes soon in the donation box, and you on the 27th at 10:00 - noon.
