Last Chance for Yard Sale

Hello Friends:

  Have you noticed that the flowers that are blooming everywhere really stand out on a cloudy day? If it weren't for the grey day yesterday I never would have noticed the 15' high "flowerfall" of lovely wisteria growing behind one of the houses on my way to Service Project HQ.

  I write to you today to appeal to you to register for the May 18 Yard Sale that will benefit AFAC via your registration fees.  We learned a lot about how to promote Yard Sales last year, and so will do much more advertising this year, that is, if we get anyone registered before this Sat. May 4. We ask that you sign up online at http://arlingtoncob.org/?page_id=1132, then we'll collect the registration fee the day of the Yard Sale.

It's a great way to recycle your unwanted stuff, make a little money, and help a great organization feed a growing hungry population right here in Arlington. And we'll take your unsold items to the Goodwill, so you won't have to haul the stuff back and forth.
