Plant-a-Row II: Tomorrow 10:00 a.m.

Hi!

  Last Saturday, a small group met the Brethren church for the Monthly Service Project, where we created  stacks of seed packet bundles from seeds donated by AFAC.  The second part of this project, which didn't take place last Saturday due to rainy weather, was to be distribution of the packets  to homes in our congregations' neighborhoods.  The hope is two-fold:  To encourage gardeners to plant an extra veggie "row" for AFAC and to introduce our neighbors to the Monthly Service Project (this crazy address takes you straight to our web site: http://wp.me/P1I6gM-5W). .

As plans stand at present, we will meet tomorrow (Saturday March 31) at Brethren at 10:00 am and distribute these packets in the local neighborhood.  If you can spend an hour, or two  on Saturday to help with this distribution, please be at church by 10:00 am.  In case of rain again, a decision will be made about whether or not to reschedule, or to go ahead as planned.  Please call the church office prior to 10:00 if the weather seems to be a question.  (Friends are welcome).
