Summer Days and Coming Events

Hi Everyone:
  I hope you are getting out to enjoy the great weather we've had this week!  Such a relieve from last week's slimy heat wave.  Just wanted to tell you that Pastor Nancy and I have met and are planning the fall events, starting with a Sept. 14 visit from the giant secured shredding truck which will be parked at the ACOB driveway from 10:00 to 1:00 that day. There will be no limit to the amount of paper you may shred, provided you bring a food donation for AFAC.  New this year will be that you can bring fresh produce as well as non-perishables..  Or you may make a cash donation too -- all will go directly to AFAC.

We'll handout information about our next project then: a toiletries collection for the Arlington Free Clinic.  Come to the Soup & Pie event at the Brethren Church Sat. Nov. 2, and drop off your AFC items too.   What could be simpler and more joyful?
