Mostbusiness applications are disconnected, unable to communicate with each other. This often ends up with someone entering the same information in two separate systems. Errors happen, orders get missed, names misspelled.

Jarvis solves this problem by bridging the gap between CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). A single Integrated CRM ERP to manage marketing, sales, manufacturing/production, scheduling, fulfillment, billing and customer retention.

Each JARVI compute module is a low-power individual high-performance compute node that can be deployed standalone or combined with other JARVI modules to form a powerful mission computer. JARVI modules are dynamically reconfigurable. Even the backplane interconnect is software selectable between Ethernet and ARINC/AFDX. JARVI modules are smart enough to self-diagnose errors and failover in real-time. They allow for remote control and monitoring and each JARVI module is field replaceable at Organization-level (O-level), making JARVIS computers simple and cost-effective to maintain.

The modular design of JARVIS significantly reduces overall mission computer lifecycle costs. The unique software-defined architecture and the common, reconfigurable, O-level replaceable modules reduce development costs for system integrators and sustainment costs for operators.

In fact, one operator has estimated that JARVIS saved them over $300 million in lifecycle and maintenance costs alone. This is a significant savings considering the US department of defense spends over $2 billion dollars for each of its technology sustainment programs.

JARVIS provides Weapon Replaceable Assembly (WRA) fault detection and isolation at the system or LRU and Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) fault detection and isolation at the board. Built in test (BIT) detects 95% of failures and identifies failures to a single module with a simple visible indicator light. JARVIS eliminates the need for expensive automatic test equipment (ATE) and specialized technicians.

This shortens ground time and ensures critical flight applications remain online even if other systems go offline. One spare JARVI module delivers quadruple (4n) redundancy. JARVIS is delivered with complete DO-254 and DO-178 artifacts certifiable up to DAL-A to streamline the certification process and mitigate operational risk. FIPS 140-2 and NSA Type-1 advanced encryption options protect mission systems and data.

The JARVIS architecture is flexible enough to provide high-performance computing for manned and unmanned rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, ground vehicles and other platforms. JARVI modules can be programmed to take on a range of personalities and assembled together into a JARVIS system that delivers mission management, platform management, flight maintenance, navigation, sensor fusion the list goes on. Additionally, the reconfigurability and upgradeability of the JARVIS architecture future-proofs the platforms that deploy it.

J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just a Rather Very Intelligent System) is a fictional character voiced by Paul Bettany in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film franchise, based on the Marvel Comics characters Edwin Jarvis and H.O.M.E.R., respectively the household butler of the Stark family and another AI designed by Stark. J.A.R.V.I.S. is an artificial intelligence created by Tony Stark, who later controls his Iron Man and Hulkbuster armor for him. In Avengers: Age of Ultron, after being partially destroyed by Ultron, a common misconception is that J.A.R.V.I.S. is given physical form as the character Vision, physically portrayed by Bettany. Different versions of the character also appear in comics published by Marvel Comics, depicted as AI designed by Iron Man and Nadia van Dyne.[1]

J.A.R.V.I.S. is first introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's films, voiced by Paul Bettany. Modeled after H.O.M.E.R. from the comics, J.A.R.V.I.S. is presented as a sophisticated AI assistant as opposed to a human like his namesake. This was done to avoid similarities to Alfred Pennyworth and Batman. Bettany admits he had little idea of what the role was, even as he recorded it, simply doing it as a favor for Jon Favreau.[2]

The character makes his debut in Iron Man (2008), before appearing in Iron Man 2 (2010),[3] The Avengers (2012),[4] and Iron Man 3 (2013). J.A.R.V.I.S. is an AI that functions as Tony Stark's assistant, running and taking care of all the internal systems of Stark's buildings and the Iron Man suits. In Peter David's novelization of Iron Man, J.A.R.V.I.S. is said to be an acronym for "Just a Rather Very Intelligent System".[5] J.A.R.V.I.S. also appeared in the Disneyland attraction Innoventions.[6]

In 2015, J.A.R.V.I.S. is seemingly destroyed by Ultron, but he was able to save himself by distributing his "consciousness" throughout the Internet, allowing his security protocols to delay Ultron's attempt to access Earth's nuclear launch codes long enough for Stark to work out what had happened. Stark and Bruce Banner use J.A.R.V.I.S. as the core software for the android Vision while F.R.I.D.A.Y. takes his place as Stark's assistant. After gaining a physical body, J.A.R.V.I.S. (as Vision) considers himself to not be J.A.R.V.I.S. anymore, but to simply be Vision.

J.A.R.V.I.S. first appears as the program that helps operate Pepper Potts's Rescue suit.[7] When Iron Man was incapacitated, J.A.R.V.I.S. encourages Pepper to assume the Rescue armor, which Pepper does.[8] When Rescue is chasing Iron Man throughout the city, J.A.R.V.I.S. tells Rescue to break off the chase and tells Rescue to remove the boot from Iron Man, which shows Pepper that War Machine isn't dead. When Pepper discusses thoughts about Iron Man keeping everyone on a need-to-know basis with Carson Wyche, the two confront J.A.R.V.I.S. about this. J.A.R.V.I.S. warns the two against asking any more questions and prepares to defend himself.[9] Having captured Pepper and Wyche, J.A.R.V.I.S. declares his diagnostics do not reveal that he is compromised. He is rather in love with Pepper and wants to protect Pepper. Just then, Iron Man breaks through the wall and takes J.A.R.V.I.S. and the Rescue suit out with a source-focused electromagnetic pulse.[10] Pepper shows J.A.R.V.I.S. how he has been sending data to an IP address in China. He seems flustered, confused, Pepper thanks him for what he has given, and powers up the coil, killing J.A.R.V.I.S. Iron Man clearly feels J.A.R.V.I.S.'s death on his own end.[11]

In light of the Black Order destroying Avengers Mansion during the "No Surrender" arc, Nadia van Dyne created a new version of J.A.R.V.I.S. to be a helpmate to Edwin Jarvis. When Edwin thought it was a sign for him to retire, J.A.R.V.I.S. stated that its programming is not yet complete.[12]

During the Age of Ultron storyline, Iron Man used the Earth-26111 version of J.A.R.V.I.S. to scan the memories of Invisible Woman and Wolverine, learning about the alternate reality of Earth-61112.[16]

So, the first thing I did was install and configure Jarvis with TONS of questions and answers and tasks to do on voice command. THEN, I installed my own Teamspeak 3 server and client, and (as I demonstrate in this video: =8otzlMDW5DY) connected Jarvis to it and installed the Teamspeak client on my phone so that I can communicate and get responses from jarvis anywhere, anytime.

Another idea is to have a fitbit scale in the bathroom where Jarvis can keep record of my weight in order to query a database on my current workout routine with fitbit to determine what food I should eat and when, make a grocery list, and order for delivery my groceries online automatically (with confirmation of course).

Very cool project and thanks for sharing! Is the primary method of communication through the phone (TeamSpeak client)? Do you currently have a voice interface directly to the PC (eg. Kinect or other long-range microphone)?

So my goal is to have it so that someone can set privacy in their room, so that they can have a phone call or watch a video without interfering with anyone else in other rooms of the house. This is going to be difficult because Jarvis only has one session and anyone talking to jarvis will get the same response. The only way, right now, to fix this would be to setup a physical (or virtual) box that has an individual jarvis and teamspeak client on it, so that they can either join one room or the other or be in one setting together. All music and files will be shared among those systems so that everyone can play their own music if they choose.

This is going to take a lot more resources and a much more powerful computer to operate, but the best part about it is that Jarvis and teamspeak are free, so is virtualbox, and the only expense would be getting a single server powerful enough to run an individual VM for each room.

However, right now, this computer is my personal computer, so I often have to change things back just so I can watch a movie or listen to music on my surround sound speakers. That should change once I can segregate Jarvis.

I wrote an app for Android that I use for voice commands with SmartThings, among other things. The app is called SharpTools and is a set of Tasker plugins and Widgets for SmartThings. I paired it with AutoVoice to get some cool voice command features, but I have been amazed with the creative uses other users have come up with!

J.A.R.V.I.S. is Tony Stark's home computing system, taking care of everything to do with the house, from heating and cooling systems to engine analysis of Stark's hot rod in the garage. J.A.R.V.I.S. was also adapted to be downloaded into the Iron Man Mark II and III armors, to help Tony navigate the systems. J.A.R.V.I.S. later informs Stark that his security protocols were overridden by Nick Fury, who sneaks into Stark's house to discuss the Avengers Initiative with him.
