Garden Maintenance Day, Saturday March 19

Hello Ocean Friendly Gardeners,

Please see below for information on this Saturday's scheduled garden day.  We will be focusing on maintenance needs around the Green Spot to get it niced up and presentable before bringing people to see it, design for it, etc.  If you can come for all or part of the time, it would be greatly appreciated!  Please bring your friends :)

You will be pleased to know that we are starting to see some of the fruits of our labor from the early winter seeding...in the last few weeks native flowers have been popping up!  Lupin, poppies and tidy tips in colors of bright blue, red, purple...now we just have to hack down that dastardly grass to give these natives a chance to compete.

-  RAKES, SHOVELS, HEDGE PRUNERS

-  WEED WHACKERS

-  MISC. GARDENING TOOLS

-  GARDENING GLOVES 

-  TWINE, ROPE, AND SUCH

-  ENTHUSIASM

 

THINGS WE'LL PROVIDE:

-  A PLAN

-  ENTHUSIASM 

-  SOMETHING TO EAT AND DRINK

-  THE BEGINNINGS OF A DEMONSTRATION OCEAN FRIENDLY COMMUNITY GARDEN
