Sarah,
Thanks for adding me to the group. I'll let you know if/when I decide to take pictures...but I think I may do it tomorrow. As for the workshop at the Marina Farmer's Market -- if I have a chance, I may go to it!
Thanks for emailing!
Jenny

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for your response! It would be great if you want to take photos of the site. The Green Spot is at the south east corner of Forest and Pine in Pacific Grove . Feel free to pull in and park and take some photos of the present landscape. I have copied Tony to this email so he knows you might stop by…his office is in the building there. Please let us know where you upload the photos. When we get the blog started, we can post them there to begin the log of this project. It will be great to have the before and after once we’re done!
As for the workshop, Tony clued me into that. It’s happening this weekend in Marina . We don’t need anyone to go, per se, but it sounds like a neat workshop. It will happen from noon-1pm at the Marina Farmer’s Market at 215 Reservation Rd. The reason I wrote it into the resources section is because eventually we would love to host garden workshops at the Green Spot, so we thought maybe these folks would be willing to give their presentation there some time.
Lastly, if it’s ok with you, I am going to add you to our Ocean Friendly Gardens Google Group for communications purposes, so that you don’t get left out of conversations. Also, it will be helpful for you to have access to the Google Group so that you can add your name to tasks you plan to cover on the Task List (--that way we can hopefully avoid duplicating efforts). The web address (if you want to view messages or documents) is http://groups.google.com/group/montereyofg
Thanks again for your help on this project, Jenny!
Cheers,
Sarah

Also, there is a section on the resources/partners about Reforestation Technologies International. It says, "Workshop on successful organic methods for beefing up a garden." Did you need a point person for that to attend a workshop? Or did you need a point person to request a workshop from RTI? Let me know! -Jenny
Hi, Sarah,
I looked at the list of tasks, and I was thinking that I could take pictures of the site, but I don't know where it is! Please let me know so I can see if this would be a feasible task. Thanks for including me in the project! =)
Best,
Jenny

Oggetto: next meeting/garden demolition dayHi guys,
Just checking back in on our plans for getting started on the garden “demolition” (i.e. digging up grass, weeds and old plants). Other chapter folks are meeting at the Green Spot tomorrow at 5pm…do we want to do the same? Depending on the other chapter business, we may be able to rope in a few additional helpers.
If we don’t want to do tomorrow, when would work for folks? I will be down in Monterey again on Thursday during the day, so I could stick around and help with garden stuff in the afternoon/early evening.
Please respond with what would work for you.
Thanks!
Sarah
