Mar 26: Suggested topic?

We never discussed the topic for the next meeting. I have several suggestions:

1. Multi-plot graphics (e.g., faceting and composite graphics, ala par(mfrow=...), layout(), and par(fig=...))
2. Multi-plot graphics (e.g., faceting ala lattice)
3. R Markdown
4. R workflow using git (for version control) and project directory structure(s)
5. Experimental Designs: combining parallelization of R with control of external (non-R) processes (e.g., GAMS, java simulations).

PLEASE! Reply to this post with votes, suggests, etc. If you think you are able to discuss even part of a topic, let’s discuss it.

I would like to get into graphics.  CSUMB is the most convenient place for me.

Graphics might be nice, but I would also like to see how you manage R workflow in git.

Unfortunately I'll be unable to come to the meeting Thursday evening.

In the meantime, thoughts or discussion on the next meeting date? As a first suggestion, we can try for a quick turn-around with April 9th (Thursday), or we can just skip a month and target April 30th. Thoughts?
