Hoover PD new crime alert

In today's paper there is an e-mail address for crime alerts in our neighborhoods, anywhere in Hoover.

This is something the police have started and I for one, am very pleased that it has.

If you do not get the paper, or have missed the article, here is the address.

www.hooverpd.com .  It is very easy to register, all you need is an e-mail address.

Since it didn't specifically say Monte D'Oro, I registered for Chapel Hills and Green Valley. I feel that should cover it.

It is another tool in our Neighborhood Watch program.  Alice Hope

signed up for it too. Also I asked Lori to thank the mayor and Chief
Derzis for this service. I also have an e-mail off to Brian Foreman of
Neighborhood Watch to learn more about burgleries on Georgetown Dr.
that I read about in the police blotter a couple of weeks ago.
