River and Santa Rosa folks:
Cover succulents, lemon and other citrus plants ,fushias and other plants sensitive to cold. You can use plastic garbage bags, sheets, blankets , tarps , etc . Also leave a dripping faucet overnight, drain outside pipes, etc it's supposed to get in the 20s tonight, so a hard freeze. Also a great time to be sure hummingbird feeders are filled as they really need calories in this weather, and not much is blooming. I've seen them drop off a branch of my plants stunned from the cold and lack of calories.....the Anna's hummingbirds are here now I think.....
