I am not sure if you have visited the Firestorm Memorial Garden
(corner of Tunnel Road and Hiller Drive) lately but some of it had
been stolen (bronze trees and plaques) and a push to restore it has
happened this year. It was 17 years ago when the fire hit our area
and 25 people died. They had a gathering this week to replace the
missing items.
It is a good reminder how we should all be prepared for an emergency.
Make sure you have an earthquake kit and plans for family members (and
pets)and nieghbors to be as safe as possible.
