Great History Falls Here… Great Falls, Montana, October 15-17, 2009.

The Montana History Conference is an annual, highly anticipated gathering of those who love Montana’s past. This year we will be exploring the history and rich cultural heritage unique to North Central Montana. Conference sessions will investigate a wide array of topics: Montana’s favorite Cowboy Artist Charlie Russell and his participation in the Pablo-Allard buffalo roundup, the role of women on the homestead and the Home Front, and the involvement of the Cree and Métis in the 1895 Montana Wildest West Show to name a few. Thursday’s workshops will offer practical ideas and hands-on experience, while Saturday’s fieldtrips will provide first-hand encounters with some of the region’s most significant historic sites. Join us for this exciting and enlightening conference—you don’t want to miss the fun!
