Art's tribute to Liz.

He called and sent me a prepublication of this some months ago. It now appears to be on the market. If anyone's interested, I could scan and forward the passages dealing with the Heritage Project.

Thanks Mike - yes I would like the scanned part.  I don't think I would read much else.

Okay. Soon.

In the meantime, Art's a blogger now, on the Huffington Post as well as on his Facebook page for the Liz Claiborne book. Here's his post from yesterday:

If the wise elders of Texas have their way, our young will sink deeper in the cesspool of ignorance being fashioned for them. I refer to the two articles, one on the 10th and the other on the 11th displayed by The New York Times. The young can and must fight back - electronically. The internet offers an arsenal of weapons. Social communication and educational communication can be the learning and teaching avenues to truth - to the way things happened and are happening - to open-mindedness and the encouragement of curiosity and doubt.

Heh. It's the youth against Texas.

Thanks Mike,

I think I will go ahead and order the book—I always enjoy a biography—and I probably have some kind of psychological problem about hoarding books! J

Mike,  Thanks for letting us know. I'm going to order a copy. Happy St. Patrick's Day. It feels like Spring in the Flathead. Have you been gardening?   ~ Mary
