On Saturday April 3 at 2:30 p.m. at the Lewis and Clark Library, Art Ortenberg will read from and sign his new book, Liz Claiborne: The Legend, the Woman.  Oretenberg and Claiborne supported numerous educational and humanities related projects in the Treasure State, including the Montana Heritage Project through the Montana Historical Society.

Kirby,
I would love to come to Helena and enjoy Art Ortenberg. He had a special love for Liz.

I am also looking forward to reading the book. Alas, I have promised a fellow that I would help him with his radio station on Saturday and will be driving to Stanford with my 90 yr. old  mother.

Enjoy his visit. That will be fun. Art and Liz were wonderful for our students and the furthering of education about the history of Montana. The Heritage Project was a great boost for the Montana Historical Society. I am disappointed it isn't going with the same rate it was while they were helping us out.

See you in June, at the trainings.

Thank you,
Dale

How disappointed I was to get this announcment at such a late date!  Art has done so much for this state, the least we could have done is to let people know at least a week in advance that he was going to be reading from his beautfiul and touching book about Liz.
