Hi,

My name is Cindy Mapston. I am the Montana State Coordinator for the American History Grant. Through this grant teachers receive training with the Problem Based Learning model to teach students American History. They also receive training in all eras of American history by taking 2 online courses where they receive 3 graduate credits each semester through Seattle Pacific University. We also have a summer conference where we continue to work with the PBL model and strengthen our knowledge in American history. This summer’s conference will be held July 19-23 in Seattle, Washington on the University campus. The grant pays for all expenses and you will be paid a summer stipend as well.
