black-footed ferret safe harbor draft agreement

Yesterday the Draft Black-Footed Ferret Safe Harbor Agreement and Environmental Assessment were made available for review via the federal register.  

 

All the information and documents you need can be found on the BFF Recovery webpage....http://www.blackfootedferret.org/landowner-incentives-program/usfws-regulatory-assurances/safe-harbor-2.  Comments are due by January 18, 2013.

 

The availability of this tool could really boost the recorvery of ferrets across the range and I applaud all those who invested time and energy into this effort.  More to come and Happy Holidays!!!  Lauri Hanauska-Brown
