What free technology tools do you use? And, perhaps more importantly,
how do you use these tools to good effect in teaching and learning?
Any tips you might give are welcome.

We use Seamonkey for simple web page design in our instructional media
courses and for web based electronic portfolios.

We use Google groups and blogs with visiting foreign students to
create class communication tools that will still function to keep them
connected after they have returned to their home countries.

Personally, I use Delicious social bookmarking so my bookmarks/
favorites are available to me everywhere, organized and easy to share.
