(7) Artifacts from different Montagnard tribal groups have to have
descriptions written in their languages with English translation.
Without stories and descriptions on these artifacts, things don't have
much meaning. This idea applies to other documents as well.

I'm taking the liberty to break out Lap's terrific list and to create
separate discussions for each.

A few casual discussions and light research suggest that many
artifacts and objects of real cultural and historic interest reside in
private hands, often former GIs and Special Forces veterans, or
various folks who went to the region in other capacities during or
after the American war. As these folks age, the question becomes What
will happen to these objects?

Equally important: What will happen to the stories (context) that
their owners still remember now?

Example: Early on, Sister Gretchen was the recipient of some very well
made, well crafted weavings from their actual makers and others.
Today, she doesn't quite remember who made them or when she got them.
