Starting webgl with MontageJS

Hello,
I'm trying to learn javascriptl using MontageJS. But I can not even get the beachplanet demo to run locally. Every time I try to run it I receive TypeError: path is undefined.
Also tried using the MontageStudio to display basic models, but received the same error and ReferenceError: montageRequire is not defined. The models are viewable in the studio itself.
Have asked in IRC but everyone seems top busy to help.
