The Meteorology textbook said raindrops formed on airborne particulates.  They form on broken bits of high flying grass, dust, insect wings and pollen.  Rob and Mark read the text and each dreamed of what this must be like.   Rob dreamed he was pollen in the jet stream.  Mark  dreamed he was grass from some yard traveling high over cities.  Rob was in the flesh of a blue sky, tucked in the light and atmosphere.   Mark spun and tumbled over highways and cities , floating astronautic above it all, the way perhaps of music as it for that millisecond leaves the instruments and hangs in the air before reaching ear drums.

An odd storm was soon to form in the sunny day.  The sun was to heat stones and dirt and shoot back up through the blue sky, through the humidity riding up from the south,  through the blades of grass , pollen bits and tiny once wings still in flight.   Clouds would rage with a rain never seen in such parts, a lake to fall earthward with no name, mud to wash down hillsides like the shrugging shoulders and weight of age,  to flow rivers on dry lands, to roar music on roofs of water and fall.

this will all come later...for now...here and in sky...it all floats...
