Let's learn to use and share Free Software

Hi

There is an urgent need to start making Free Software fully accessible to every one in Liberia, starting from this very group. A lot of us are still using proprietary software like Windows and some Linux Distros that have proprietary blobs in applications, programming platforms and drivers.

I've been messing around the Free Software Foundation's list of Fully Free Software

I feel those of your guys with good Internet speed ought to download some of those Distros and help those who can't afford the luxury. This will help advance the use of Free and Open Source Software in Liberia.

This is a great idea. I have been toying with open source and free software, including participating in a regional discussion group but have not had much persons showing interest. Will link folks to the Free Soft ware and Open Source Foundation for Africa at fossfa.org
