Community WiFi Time @ Monroe Elementary: Tuesday 6-8pm

Hello Neighbors,

We're starting something new at the Monroe Elementary school by opening the library to the community from 6-8pm this Tuesday for the primary purpose of allowing access to the great WiFi internet access that the school has.

Of course, getting together as a community in just about any shape or form is always a good thing.

My specific goal is to talk with people that are interested in nerdy projects like programming, building websites or robots.  I've been meeting with a highly nerdy group in Bangor on a biweekly basis.  We just can't get enough of each other's nerdy conversations, so we're going to try meeting in Monroe on an alternate biweekly schedule.  

The main point is, we'll have the library open to the public, and it has some of the best WiFi for miles around.  I don't think that we'll have access to the desktop computers at the library just yet, but if you have a laptop you can bring it and hang out.

Hi,    I so need a nerd to help this old lady who is foundering in the cyber world...I know so little about my equally old lap and have imposed on everyone I know for help.   Usually they say"my computer is different"  ...end of help...Any chance for some tutoring ?   I will pay.   Thanks   Marge
