Hello Everyone!

Last minute but I hope some of you can come to some or all of this!

We are very fortunate to have some a talk and a training on the Transition Town Movement right here in Belfast and in Brooks.  This is coming right up this weekend.  Let us know if you have any questions.

Free talk in Belfast on Friday night at the Waterfall Arts.

Training for Transition at the New Forest Institute on Sat. and Sunday -

Pizza Party for all on Saturday night.

He will speak and answer questions on the Transition movement, on his experience gained from his many volunteer hours, and on the surprising, positive and creative responses that have emerged over time from within the Sebastopol community.

Mid-Maine Training for Transition

... a two day workshop designed to introduce or further your knowledge of a community engagement model for responding to economic instability, lower energy and changing climate.
 
This is a great way to become firmly grounded in the Transition movement, and to connect with other people in your region. 
 
You will leave energized, inspired and motivated, with the organizational tools you need to engage your own community in addressing the issues facing us!

This training is designed for people  interested in learning about the Transition movement in greater depth and for people already creating or involved in a Transition initiative in their community.

Full tuition is $150. A $50 deposit is requested.  Limited scholarships are available.  Please contact Kim by email to apply.  We want everyone with a sincere interest to be able to attend.

Lunches and Pizza Party@$10 each  (Gluten-free and vegan available)  Public welcome to the Pizza Party!

*Scott McKeown

Scott McKeown is the initiator and current chairperson of Transition Sebastopol, which is the 8th official Transition initiative in the US. Scott is a trainer, instructional designer, and event producer who has worked over seven years delivering training courses in corporate environments including for Advanced Fibre Communications and the Buckminster Fuller Institute. Scott has been a community organizer for over 30 years, a Marketing Director of three high tech companies, and from 2003 to 2007 was the Executive Director of the thirty-thousand person attended Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, California.
