Garret and Danielle,
Thank you both so much for setting this up. It is most important and I
hope people will join in. As this year has shown us we have just a few
issues, tongue in cheek, that we could address and improve our town
and the ways we relate from our different view points.

Unlike our unworkable town website this is a much better format but
only if we use it.

You are welcome Allyn,

I am excited about it too!  I think we'll find that the people here have a lot to share and offer.  If we can just connect the dots so to speak, we'll be a more interconnected community.

There's a few things I'm thinking of for the welcome page of this group.  I think we should establish some ground rules, or a code of conduct.  It would be good to brainstorm on what we feel is acceptable / not acceptable so that later on, when hopefully lots of people join the list, we can have an impartial list of guidelines so that we're all treated fairly.  I definitely want this to be a positiive thing for everyone involved.

Here's to a great start!

Thank you Allyn. It is just another step. I have not forgotten about our potlucks or of the directory. All good things take time. If you or anyone else want to invite friend or neighbor to our little group just send one of us there e-mail and we can send them an invite. I would like it if just anyone could invite anyone but this program seems to ask for a "administrator."
