Hi all
So I have monologue set up on my website, I also use bootstrap styling with my site, this includes a navbar.

For some reason, whenever I try to render the navbar partial on my blog, the bar seems to get a bit bigger vertically. The words displayed in the navbar have some space underneath now. I am trying to render the navbar partial in my monologue/application.html file, which I think it the correct space. I also added bootstrap to the styling of the monologue's custom.css file. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix the navbar?

If this is confusing for anyone, I will try to explain it better. I am quite new to ruby on rails development.

Thank you. Any help is appreciated.

I guess it's due to the style already included in Monologue, is that possible?

Makes sense! Is there a way just to use bootstrap instead? Where can I change monologue's styling?

It's been a long time but I think you need to overwrite this file and change that line https://github.com/jipiboily/monologue/blob/master/app/views/layouts/monologue/application/_head.html.erb#L11

The file needs to be exactly at the same location in your code base, that is "app/views/layouts/monologue/application/_head.html.erb"

Hope that helps!
