Hi

I was prompted to commit my work so far and start doing daily patches.
So far I have been doing my work on windows, so I needed a linux
machine.
Setting it up and installing all the software needed took a lot more
time than expected. After that there were a lot of problems from
differences in the compilers, differences in NUnit ( I have been using
a newer version ).
Now I am finally all set up, code and tests compile on linux and
windows.
I am working on windows, on successful compilation the updated code
gets copied to linux, there it gets compiled one more time with mcs.
I will create patch with the tests that are green, and start working
from that point on.

Regards
Dimi

Hi,

Any updates on it? Lately I was asked about WebParts existence from
a local customer. I answered that there is a SoC effort, so some
of them might be ready though as a highly unstable component. If it
is checked in svn, at least we can know which are going to be existent.

It also means there is an actual demand and testable code that could
be helpful for bugging it later ;-)

(I'm not the one who originally prompted him about it btw.)
