Successes
========
* Wrote a GnomeVFS-based ASP.NET deployer. It works fine *if* the URI
is valid and the target directories exist.
* On advice from Miguel, decided not to use GnomeVFS as the primary
deployment mechanism.
* Had a look at FUSE and liked it very much.
* As a result of this, I have been hacking on the MD Core deployment
mechanisms, implementing a means for projects to specify which files
are to be deployed, and adding an extension point for file copy
mechanisms that can be used by more than one deployment target, a base
deployment target that uses these, and a mechanism to decide whether
files should be replaced if they exist already.

Problems
=======
* Becuse of the change in the deployment mechanisms, my target has
slipped and I have not worked on the misc. other features that need
tweaking.
* I have another deadline coming up ATM; I have been developing a
website for my College and it needs to launch on 16 Aug...

Targets for next week
================
* Finish the deployment extension points and their UI.
* ASP.NET deployer.
* Port the GnomeVFS deployer to the new file copier API. It'll be
marked as experimental/unsupported, but I think it still there are
advantages to its use.
* Crunch time! About a week left, so I need to get the project into a
releasable state. This means I have to sort out:
-- Chrome deployment. Without any pointers from Blago yet, fixing
the chrome installation has been difficult. I may restrict the
AspNetEdit addin to Mozilla 1.7 for now and use the same brute force
installation mechanism AspNetEdit uses.
-- Icons!
-- Use of Gettext to make the addins translatable

If possible, I will also look at
* Web.config, hopefully integrated with reference system
* Fixing Mono 2.0 classlib so that document saving in AspNetEdit works
* Some FUSE integration with the deployment file copier...?
* and a bunch of other things...

At the end of the week I think I will have pretty much met my SoC targets.
