[Mono-dev] GSoC - Community Ideas - Phalanger Addin

Hi,

With recent stable release 2.10.8, Phalanger can be used with Mono. So
now one can write an addin and project template for Mono Develop to
develop application using Phalanger.

Writing full support for php may be too big for a summer, but one can
write basic compilation and debugging support.

IMHO the most interesting thing about Phalanger is not that you can
develop PHP and run it on Mono/.NET, but that you can progressively
refactor your app to convert it from PHP to your .NET language of choice.
