I'm searching for any kind of help for the use of the
Mono.Addins.Setup library. I have the code and in my project the
loading and using of addins work great. Now I want to use the setup
modules to enable/disable addins and to build a pluginmanager form to
control the addins.

Is there any documentation about using the setup library? Or at least
an example?

I'm thankful for any kind of help!

There is no documentation yet, but you can take SetupTool.cs (in
Mono.Addins.Setup) as an example of how to use the api to implement an
add-in manager. In this case, the add-in manager is a command line
application.

Thanks for this hint. Hopefully the SetupTool.cs could help me
further. Still it would be not that bad to have a documentary about
that ;)

I agree that an official documentation would be very useful but I
(more or less) managed to derive the functionality of all the
available methods provided inside Mono.Addins.Setup simply by looking
at the method names and parameters needed.

Yeah exactly that's my current approach and it seems to work. I didn't
think that it is that easy to build a manager for the addins with
mono.addins.
