South Wales Hackers and Robotics

Hi,

I'm a software developer at BoxUK and part-time Robotics masters student at the BRL.  A few of the chaps at Box and I were thinking about putting together a South Wales robotics/hacking/AI group and associate it with Unified Diff (http://unifieddiff.co.uk/).  I am also planning to host a forum where we could discuss projects, collaborate, and generally talk about robots and hacking.  It could also be used to arrange meetups, talks, etc.

Would anyone be interested in this sort of thing?

Hi Nick,

I'd be very interested in this!

When I tried to setup the Hackerspace, I think I was overly enthusiastic about what could be done in the Monmouth area.

To link it in with udiff somehow would be awesome, although it would be good if possible to have some meetings outside Cardiff as it's a bit of a pain for some of us to get to especially after work!
