shared database

Hello folks I am new the community.

I need some help in sharing the database between two applications in django. I have created three apps manager, monitor and common.

the manager application and monitor shared the same database in common.models by inheriting their models from this last one.

when using the inheritance collection names will be changed in each models. the real separation I want to do is separating the functions of each application on the same database.
