Mongodb Backup and Restore in c#

I searched online for a way to backup and restore a mongodb in c#, i could not find any information, is there a way to do this from c#?

MongoDB backups and restores need to be done by doing commands at the OS level.  There's no 'backup' or 'restore' command built in to MongoDB that you can invoke from a driver.
