Thanks, I've downloaded php_mongo-1.0.3-5.3-vc6-x86.zip, copied it to ext dir (replaced old dll) and now I'm getting this error in apache/logs/error.log:

[Tue Jan 12 13:57:23 2010] [notice] Parent: child process exited with status 255 -- Restarting.

Apache restarts and does not work correctly.

I'm unable to reproduce this, although I've seen reference to it happening to other people on vista... are you on vista?  Can you give me any other info about your setup (WAMP, XAMPP, or manual install of PHP & Apache)?

Windows 7 64, XAMPP. I was getting same error with 1.7.2 (but not really sure about status, I think it was bigger, very big number). This error is after upgrading to 1.7.3.

Switched back to 1.0.1, everything works, but I am not really happy

Annoying, it's working for me with XAMPP 1.7.3.  Are you running any code before it gives you the error, or is it immediately on startup?
I'll keep looking.

Maybe later, I've switched my development OS to Linux. Thanks!

Oh, I meant "I'll try running without any code later". Now there is a big part of the application bootstraping. I'm not really sure, but I think even some request to db would go nicely before the crash.

There are only find requests, through. There are 7-8 requests by _id and one "big" for almost whole collection (500 items).

Let me know if you get any more info on it, I'd love to figure out what's going on.

Maybe later, I've switched my development OS to Linux.

Always a good move.
