Hi Guys,
I get no connection to my mongodb-server instance. I can connect to the mongod running on the server, when i'm locally on that machine.

Here's the console output:
 ~  mongo <ip>:27017

MongoDB shell version: 2.6.1

connecting to
: <ip>:27017/test

2014-06-05T18:46:29.015+0200 Error: couldn't connect to server <ip>:27017 (188.165.240.213), connection attempt failed at src/mongo/shell/mongo.js:148

exception: connect failed

 I've commented out
bind_ip=127.0.0.1

Thanks for your help!

Cheers,
Martin

I think you will need to add a line for bind_ip with the interface you actually want it to be listening on.
