MongoDB 2.4.6,  Linux 64bit

I have a virtual server with 40Gb HDD, there is a MongoDB and a database (14GB).
Server has 13GB free space after reboot. But the MongoDB spends all available space in 12 hours.

$ sudo lsof | grep deleted | grep mongo
mongod     1013       user    1u      REG                8,3     13125931304    1097731 /tmp/tmpfi3GN3Q (deleted)

What can I do?

Have you taken a look at this:  http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/faq/storage/
