Did mongoDB crash?

I didn't stop mongoDB.  Did it crash?  This looks like something stopped/killed it intentionally.

When mongod logs stop extremely abruptly it's usually the case it was killed by OOM.  Check output of dmesg.

If however the mongod logs show it received a signal and shut itself down then something else external to it sent it a signal and you would need to look at the rest of the system logs.
