Installling MongoDB from AWS marketplace

Hello guys,
The question is quite simple: I have installed the 1000IOPS instance directly from amazon marketplace. As I was going through the install mongodb on EC2 tutorial I noticed that there is mentioned that some parts of it can be skipped if the installation is done via Amazon marketplace.

Although at least for me it isn't very clear, which parts the install package covers? The note is in section "Deploy single node" but in my opinion there are already volumes for data, log and journal already, so that signals the install covers also the configuration part. Are the volumes in raid10 also?
Most probably mongoDB is installed, so can I just skip all those and move on to the replica set section?

Well this depends on the specific deployment. Are you just deploying a single node?

The documentation notes:
If you created a MongoDB instance via the AWS Marketplace, skip ahead to Configure Storage below.


Are you stuck in any particular step or are you finding anything different or incorrect?
