mongodb on dual-core Atom + 4 GB of RAM

Just wondering if anyone has tried this on a small footprint box:  single (or dual) core Atom, 2 ~ 4 GB of RAM.  Disk is SSD.

I have mongodb 2.6 series on a small atom box. The performance and experience was alright as long as you didn't have any other web server or app server that was under heavy load. It requires careful tweaking of all cache, trim and memory options though. For eg, this new config in 3,2 might be of interest to you

storage.wiredTiger.engineConfig.cacheSizeGB

Note that if your small system is running a 32bit os, then you cant use wiredTiger. wiredTiger is I belive, only available on 64bit versions of mongodb.
