It would make sense for there to not be a reliable JDBC driver for MongoDB, as MongoDB doesn't provide a SQL interface, and SQL commands don't map cleanly onto MongoDB commands.

I have installed mongo dB server on Ubuntu on virtual box in my system. I tried a simple java code to insert data into mongo db on Ubuntu on virtual box from my eclipse on window machine and I was successful to make connection and insert data using the simple mongo-java-driver.

Now I want to do it for my rest database APIs. It needs JDBC connection as we made for other SQL databases by connection through RDBMS . I searched on internet and there is no mongo JDBC driver available on their official site. Only the link https://github.com/erh/mongo-jdbc have done an experimental project for JDBC connection but that is also not working properly for users as it’s an experiment only.

Can anyone suggest any solution..

They just released a MongoDB JDBC driver last week and it works great! Its NOT experimental and its free to try.

Hope this helps =)

Please don't post as though your driver is open source since it is not, it is more like $499 per client machine and $2,499 for a server :\

The license terms for the MongoDB JDBC driver actually say that it is free for open source projects, educational, personal, and non-commercial use.  See: http://www.unityjdbc.com/mongojdbc/

It isn't true open source though, not like MongoDB itself.
