Hello.

I wanted to try out the aggregation framework and hence tried to install 2.1.1. I get an error that "ReleaseSRWLockExclusive" in KERNEL32.dll can't be found, when i try to run mongod.exe.

I've also tried to latest build (mongodb-win32-i386-2012-06-25) but then I instead get an error that "InterlockedCompareExchange64" cant be found in KERNEL32.dll.

The 2.0.6 version runs without problems.

Win XP professional SP3, 32bit

There is some more information in this discussion from a few weeks ago confirming that development builds of MongoDB 2.1.x server do not currently support XP:

Microsoft discontinued mainstream support for Windows XP in 2009 so it is probably time to upgrade ;-).

There are also significant storage limitations running on 32-bit MongoDB builds:

You may want to look into testing with a hosted MongoDB service instead of a local install, eg:
