Performance of a query

Many articles have described that the performance of the Insert / Delete Query is much better in MongoDB in comparison to MySQL or Oracle. Is it?

Can anyone explain why? when both the MongoDB collection and MySQL/Oracle table has the same number of attributes  e.g. emp(= {mp ID, emp Name, Salary, Projects[ ]}
