Hi Eric,

What else is in your database? Is this the only command your running?

Mongo will not delete files when you drop a collection, if you wish to clean up this unused space you may want to look at running repair on your database as suggested http://www.mongodb.org/display/DOCS/Excessive+Disk+Space
