Can't install on Windows 10 machine

I'm using a Windows 10 64-bit machine, but when I go to install the MongoDB Community edition it quits installation and says "setup wizard ended prematurely."

I've successfully installed it on a different similar machine, so I'm not sure why it's not working on this one.

Hi Chuck,

Did you see any other error messages ?
Could you check in your firewall/antivirus logs or Windows setup/event logs for any messages that could be related to MongoDB installation error ?

Also, could you provide the following information:

The .msi MongoDB installer name / version.
Do you have access to the Internet from your Windows 10 ?
Do you have PowerShell Set-Execution policy defined ?

I have the same issue. I tried unchecking installing as service and not to install compass as I've seen with many posts but still same error.

This is with the latest version 4.0 and on Windows 10 that does have Internet Access. The ExecutionPolicy shows RemoteSigned.
