Hello,
I have a problem to install Mongodb on a virtual machin with Xubuntu 17.10.

I try:

udo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv 2930ADAE8CAF5059EE73BB4B58712A2291FA4AD5

echo "deb [ arch=amd64,arm64 ] https://repo.mongodb.org/apt/ubuntu xenial/mongodb-org/3.6 multiverse" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mongodb-org-3.6.list

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install -y mongodb-org

But i have an error:

E: Impossible de trouver le paquet mongodb-org

Sorry it's in french. He doesn't find the mongodb-org package.

Thanks for answers (sorry for my bad english^^).

Hi Samuel,

It’s been a while since you posted this question on MongoDB installation, have you found the solution ?

I tried to replicate your installation issue on Xubuntu 17.10 and by following the instructions Ubuntu: Install MongoDB Community Edition. The installation went successfully without any issue.

I’d suggest to check whether each of the commands you posted were executed successfully. i.e. error lines, etc. Also check whether apt-get update picked up the new repo list.

Regards,
Wan.
